Communique of the Conference.

(From the Chung Ja She).

The Eastern oppressed races have organised in Hankow a union which was inaugurated on the 12th after much prepara- tion. We now publish in the following account particulars of the Inaugural Conference held that day, and this is indeed good news showing that the World Revolution is advancing well. The Associations represented at the Conference were rather few, as it happened that a reception of welcome was being given in honour of General Chang at the same time. The Associations represented at the Conference were the Special Municipal Bureau the General Labour Union, the Hankow Cigarette Workmen's Union, the Tai Koo Wharf Coolies' Union, the Wuhan Wharf Coolies' Union, the Communist Young Men's Association, the Hankow Students' Association, the Hankow Rickshaw Coolies' Union, the Hankow Municipal Co-operative Chamber of Commerce, and the French School Old Boys' Association and others over 50 in all. Indian, Annamese and Korean comrades were conspicuous for their enthusiasm, and there were present about 300 men in all. The programme of the Conference was as follows:-

(1) Declaration of the opening of the Conference.

(2) Announcement of the objects of the Conference.

(3) Report on what was done for the preparation of the

Union.

(4) Speeches.
